I come from Fredericksburg Texas that caters to people that want fine food and fine wine. Obviously this isn’t it, but for being a restaurant at a truck stop nowadays, this is very good. I’m honestly impressed and surprised by the service and food. I see the reviews bashing this place. But it’s a new staff team, and they’re killing it

This place is called "The Kitchen" now I came in here expecting the worst from reading reviews. Very happy I decided to. I'm not sure what people are expecting coming from this place, it's like denny's. Not some flashy fine dine establishment. I took a gamble with the NY strip steak, eggs, loaded hash. Read other reviews about overcooked steak so I ordered it a little rare (ordered medium rare came out medium well) no big deal. No it's not the best steak in the world. Everything else was cooked fine. coffee hot, restaurant clean, what else could you want? people are to picky.

Really enjoyed the buffet...New York Strip with sauteed mushrooms and the Beef Barley soup was delicious. My husband ordered the pork chop and eggs and was so happy with it. Says it was better than most steaks he gets.

This place has an incredible atmosphere with awesome works of art and various paintings that create a bright and colorful atmosphere. Freindly service with a smile matches the wonderful food. The menu has a large variety and prices are pretty much average with a few items on the higher end, but well worth it. Highly recommended

Food was good, especially my son's pancakes. Waitress "MO" was very kind and attentive, making it a great visit.

I came in for breakfast on a Wednesday. It was pretty busy. There were about 10-15 tables and 1 waitress was waiting on all of them. Probably the hardest working waitress I've ever seen AND she was polite and informative. It looked like there may have only been 1 cook in the back also working hard. There was a little wait which didn't bother me because they were genuinely trying to get orders taken and people served in order. I hope you're not planning to shut the restaurant down for that ridiculous cafeteria case of food setup. I saw this at another Petro and it was a joke. No one was manning the station, the food looked as if it was sitting all day and no one was getting food from there. Don't do it.

These guys are really trying their best to serve us. Often its just the cook and one waiter but everything has been good. Folks seem to be understanding that it may take a few minutes to get foid.

The menu offered several healthy options, my favorite is seared cod and grilled chicken dinner with a two side broccoli mass potatoes or some pilaf rice roast veggies, food size is decent satisfying enough for a quick stop. 'Starbucks is there too if you like sweets and barber shop to get a haircut.
